And all the amazing contributing Queer artists.
Est. 2016, Sassify Zine is a Not- For-Profit Queer culture print magazine luxuriating in queer art and sassiness.
Each thematic issue is printed annually, where we give a platform to local and international art from both established and up-and-coming LGBTQ+ artists, who are at the forefront of what we do, to advocate for meaningful change and education about the queer community.
For LGBTQ+, Womxn, Trans, GNC people and allies.
Enhancing solidarity: We want to change attitudes towards LGBTQ+ people both within and outside of that community. Changes in social diversity seem threatening at first, and we hope to give everyone the tools to become a better ally by relearning everything we think we know about the LGBTQ+ community.
We continue to see a lack of access to LGBTQ+ art and storytelling in mainstream media, especially in rural towns and communities. The creation of Sassify was the response to that, helping us all to celebrate the achievements of the LGBTQ+ community and educate all on the struggles faced in the past and those that are still faced today.
Please do not hesitate to get in touch about any potential projects you may have in mind! You can do this best by emailing Sassifyzine@gmail.com
